2004 Renualt Scenic - heating problem. Is it the resistor?

Should be a simple fix, but you need to be able to do basic electrical testing first. Initial fault was probably the resistor, and now it's altogether dead it may have also blown a fuse. Get a Haynes manual for location of blower motor & resistor pack, and fuse locations & testing procedures.
