Is there a way to get care package killstreak rewards to count towards your set killstreak rewards?

For example, say I have a 4, 7,11 killstreak reward and if I get a chopper gunner from a care package, is there a glitch that anyone's found that I could get maybe 7 kills with the care package chopper gunner and it counts towards my 4,7,11 killstreak rewards?
