I've had a sore throat on the right side only on and off for about a week now. Its worse in the morning because it actually feels BETTER when i swallow and I guess lubricate it. My former job didn't pay me on time, they also had questionable selling practices. For example, when things would break, the owner of the store would super glue the items and sell them at full price! He wouldn't tell the customers that they were broken items. It took him almost 2 months to pay me. So I mustered up the courage to call the Maryland Labor Board, but was told that if my employer found out, I could be fired and at that time I couldn't afford to be fired. After awhile I got so tired of not being paid on time that I quit, now I had an interview today and I think I did pretty well, but I am afraid that when the manager calls my former place of employment they will give me a bad reference. My good guy friend has been acting soooo weird lately...is he jealous?

I am trying to find a list of disqualifiers to join the US army. The reason why I am asking this is because I was arrested twice when I was15 years old and used cocaine once. I have completed everything when I was fifteen and there is nothing pending in my criminal record. I have recently obtained a bachelors degree and I am interested in joining the army. When I was arrested in 1999, i was charged with shoplifting and tresping. Both incidents were neither misdemeanors nor felonies, they were juvenile delinquent acts. It's not exactly choppy like that; it's more fluid but if you were to break it down in slow motion, it would sound like that. It doesn't sound like any person was naturally singing that part, but it sounds as if Alvin and the chipmunks were singing. It sounds like it would be in the pop/techno genre (it has a lot of some techno piano beat) or perhaps rock/alternative (but it's not hard rock, drums, or yelling so I don't think it's rock). I was a little confused as to why you named one Winter - presumably because she is the one who brings winter to earth but her sister is called Leigh. I would have expected Summer or Spring so what significance does the name Leigh have in the story. How can I get a handcycle for my girlfriend?

My girlfriend has cerebral palsy and is unable to walk on her own or peddle a normal bicycle so she needs a special bike called a handcycle. I have looked on several websites since they aren't sold in very many if any stores and found that they are way out of the price rang of a normal bike. I have a 16 month old and I am now 7 months pregnant. This pregnancy was unplanned but I'm excited. Its just very different from the last one. My husband was super attentive and sweet last time and I felt like I looked pretty even though I gained like 60 pounds. This time I have gained 25 pounds so far but I feel hideous. WHy do people think egg yolks are bad for health?

I hate the fact that everyone believes this myth that egg whites are healthy and egg yolks should be avoided. If you dont eat egg yolks you are missing out on vitamins and minerals. Dietary cholestrol also does not covert to blood cholestrol. Ive been eating eggs with the yolks for my whole life. I eat like 10 eggs a week and I checked my cholestrol just yesterday and found it to be 183 which is considered quite normal. Eat the damn egg yolks!!

Now twice she called and asked if she can have a visit (without her supervisor) and when we say no she will tell son (on the phone) that we said no, making us look like bad guys. She only calls about every six weeks, has a different boyfriend every time we see her, has no job, and tells son that it isn't her fault so that she gets to be the poor victim who is doing the best she can. The most amazing thing i have never seen in my life?

My work is ociated with east African countries, mostly Kenya and Ethiopia. I just got back from Ethiopia with the weirdest encounter of my life, which changed my previous sympathy for the country. It all started with me and my co-worker as we visited the Lake Tana that’s the origin of Nile River in Ethiopia. There on the lake were these poor Ethiopians trying to fish while we sow one man dropping bunch of fishes, , shrimps and lobsters, etc..back to the lake, I asked him why he was doing that, he looked at me with surprise and asked with broken English what else he could do with them. I told him why couldn’t he eat them or give them to other people, he shouted out, how people could eat such things and left immediately. We were both so surprise, imagine how shrimps and can’t be eaten and the weird part is, they are Ethiopians always suffering with hunger and famine. After we encounter this we tried to show to the local people how to eat, shrimps, and different kinds of fish as they only eat one type of fish , we cooked and tried to give them to taste, some of them were actually vomiting for just watching us eat and none of them dare to try, my friend was laughing at their stupidity but I was actually offended and the worst part is not just sea foods that they don’t know how to eat, we found out there are many types vegetables that they don’t know how to eat specially mushroom they call it “ umbrella of hyena” and children play with is everywhere on the street , but no one use them as food, my general encounter is that poverty is both mental and physical in Ethiopia and they are the poorest and the most proudest people I have ever seen. Can you imagine, they think eating pork is disobeying God? Anyway Kenya is relatively better, actually they are growing economically better than Ethiopians, and they know mushrooms, sea foods and pork are for food. It's fun and all playing a single random match against the computer but I want to know how I can ally with an AI and fight against another team of AI's. Don't mention "Go play online and ally with real people" or something gay like that. I went under game type to change it but this is all that is listed; Melee, Free For All & Map Settings. I have this situation on my hands that i really detest. It started out with this girl i know, breaking it off with her boyfriend. We ended up becoming really close and i asked her out. She told me at this time that she cant have a relationship now, and i told her thats fine i could wait if thats what she wanted. It wasn't long after that i noticed her talking to other guys, and even though i understood that we weren't dating, it still made me jealous. I asked her later on if she liked another person or if she was out just for flings and she told me that she was wanting a fling. Whether or not it was justified, i felt kinda rejected and lied to. After a few days of depression, by some coincidence i end up talking to this other girl. I end up asking her out because i get close to her. Why do my dogs fight?

I NEED HELP! I have had my dogs for 5 and 3 years and they have always been best good friends. One is a Shepherd/Boxer mix (Phelos) and the other is an American Staffordshire (Lizzy). Last week they had a horrible fight and Lizzy got pretty messed up. Everything was fine after that until last night. Phelos was sitting beside me and Lizzy tried to jump up there and Phelos pounced on her. The fight lasted for over ten minutes because I could not pull them apart. My son and I finally got them apart, but there was alot of blood and scratches. I was terrified and thought they were going to kill each other. After the fight they were fine and cleaning each others wounds. I don't know why after all these years together they are now starting to fight, but I do not want it to happen again. HELP "I have a Jealous Dog"!?

Hi, my 10 month old collie dog gets very jealous, in my household there is me, my husband and three house cats. My dog is closer to my husband then me and follows him around. However if me or my husband try to play with the cats she s in. If my husband strokes a cat or pays them any attention she barks and tries to in and push the cat away, she also pounces at them and if he strokes another dog she growls and snarls at them that also goes for if a dog comes over to say hello when she is playing ball with my husband. If me and my husband are affectionate to each other she also s in and she always begs for food, even strangers we p if they have food in their hand! I have a male orange tabby and he's a wonderful pet! He's a rescue cat that chose us, too. He's a wonderful cat that is very "chatty", quite affectionate, and we wouldn't trade him for the world. If at all possible, take him in. If not, get him to your local cat no-kill shelter for adoption before something bad happens to him. Tell them about his personality. Cementing an oil line in my basement?

The local building department requires that we put cement over the oil lines in the basement that go from the oil tank to the boiler. Does anyone know what kind of cement is used for this? I have a severe pain in my upper right side, I was in the hospital for it. They said that the CT scan showed a thickening of the intestines, but that that's not uncommon and 9 out of 10 times the colonoscopy shows nothing. Could my IBS be causing this pain? Eye issues? Any Help?

Hi. Every year, I have a health screening at school. And every year, since 6th grade, I fail the eye examination. Not literally, but I can't see far out of my left eye due to blurriness. I've been told that I use just my right eye to see far away. Now, I did poorly with my right eye during the test too. I've been to the optometrist before and she said that it was optional if I wanted to get gles. If I was having trouble in school, that I should get them. Well, both my mother and I decided that it wasn't necessary. But now this year, I did bad with the right too and once again I will have to get retested with the nurse. Once again, it's far away, not near. I've also had a history of double vision, having two surgeries to correct the problem although I still have a little double vision in the morning and at night due to sleepiness. I've heard that gles can help with that. So, with the amounting annoyances occurring, do you think I should get gles?

Check your eye carefully in good light under both lids and into the corners. If you don't spot something then get someone else to check using a torch. Can a noncustodial parent legally move out of state without permission from the court?

I live in the state of Georgia. My husband and I have wanted to get custody of my stepson for quite some time, but we were waiting for the right time out of fear of losing. His mother is very fickle about relationships, where she lives, jobs, etc. She has him around instate about 9 times ( in and out of boyfriends and family member's houses) in the 26 months that my husband and I have been married. Now we found out that a few weeks ago she moved him out of state (about 4 hrs away) without even telling us, let alone getting permission from the court. Oh and I forgot to mention that originally, we lived about 1 1/2 hrs. away, but moved 6 mnths ago to be closer to him. but back to the question at hand, Can she legally move him out of state without permission?

Should I switch to boon?

I have been playing clarinet for 3 years and i'm not trying to be snotty, but I am the best in 8th grade. I also play piano and alto sax. My band teacher is wondering if I want to play boon. I tried it and it was fun. My embouchure needs work to get used to a double reed though. I just don't know if I should switch because I am already so good at clarinet. I would concentrate on hitting in the first 3 rounds. Try to fills 2B, 3B, and SS with your early picks. As for pitching, don't get too aggressive early trying to fill that positions. The fact that less pitchers are needed on your team compared to a standard Yahoo league makes it safer to p on a good pitcher in the early rounds. There will be plenty of quality pitchers available in the middle rounds. And wait until the last few rounds to pick a catcher. With one exception, Joe Mauer, there is not a catcher that is worth picking early in the draft.

Intermittent explosive disorder (IED) is a disorder characterized by impulsive acts of aggression. He has never hit or hurt me he's only been a hurtful with words when he's mad at me. Why does my stomach hurt?

I went back to starving myself today, I probably had around 250 calories all together. I know that some people are going to discouarge me from doing this, but I walked down to a library and I drank a diet pepsi, and my stomach started hurting a lot, I felt queasy and when I got home I threw up a little (not on purpose).
