How can she find an owl scary?

My 2 yr old daugher has been waking up in the middle of the night which is not normal for her. She says she's scared of the scary owl. I am not sure why she would think an owl is scary. She watches cartoons like Little Bear that has a friendly owl and I read her Winnie the Pooh books which also have a friendly owl. I love owls and when she mentions the scary owl, I tell her owls aren't scary, they are beautiful birds with pretty wings and eyes. Should I get her a happy kid's book about owls? Too bad that Legends of the guardians movie isn't out to rent yet. I wonder if those things would make her even more scared or help her to see owls are not scary at all.
