Ring Bearer?

My fiance's little brother was supposed to be the ring bearer. His father and step mother are going through a messy divorce and we were just told he won't be attending the wedding. Our wedding is in September. We decided we will put our nephews in it who will both have just turned one. My sister is using my nephew and having the other ring bearer pull him up in a wagon. We thought it was cute but thought maybe we can use a different idea. Anyone have anything?
