Whats up with the media provoking Kobe and putting words in his mouth?

because the writers need to sensationalize whatever they can to get readership...its a lot like the news, if it was all good news who would watch, or care... readers and viewers want controversy, villany...topics they can sit on either side of...something with a mysterious side, something outrageous...readership and viewership is what the sponsors are looking for...if it was all black and white, fact based, it would be boring...
