Why does Senator McCain act as if a mule just kicked him in the head when asked a tough question?

PTSD and the little wire in his ear that is hooked to the remote in the other room that is hooked to someone else's voice to whisper to him what to say, just gave him a shock. I think Lieberman shocks him everytime McCain tries to think for himself.
