I have only started living with my stepmother for a few months and she isn't married to my dad but mothers day?

is coming up on sunday. Should I still buy her a mothers day present and card? Would I be insensitive to her feelings by doing so? Since she hasn't had children of her own and she is already forty? Should I just thank her for being a guradian? What to do?
